We have opportunities for registered nurses to work in our rest homes based in and around Christchurch.  These are day shift roles, 8am to 4.30pm, with the requirement to work 1 weekend day.

We are seeking solution focused nurses.  You must have NZ nursing registration and a current 1st Aid certificate.  You will have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.  Previous experience as a caregiver or overseas nursing experience is advantageous.  The successful candidates will have the ability to relate to all residents and their families.  You will also be required to communicate with other health providers and doctors in face to face or on phone conversations.  Your clinical skills will include wound care and the assessment and appropriate course of action with deteriorating health of residents.  Your written and verbal communication skills will be outstanding and you will be competent in computer literacy, with concise documentation skills.
