We are seeking experienced Caregivers to work ON-CALL, CASUAL OR PART-TIME to cover annual leave and other absenteeism.  You need to have completed a L3 Health and Wellbeing – Dementia. Proof of qualifications will be required. Hours of shifts are 7am to 3.30pm, 3pm to 11.30pm . Preferences for shifts is taken into account for Casual on-call carers.

Duties will involve supporting residents to maintain current activities of daily living with a focus on a quality of life and assisting with personal care needs as identified. It is preferable that applicants have a minimum of 2 years Dementia Care experience, including medication administration and have a current First Aid Certificate. You must also be competent in wound dressing and neuro observation.

Applicants should have excellent English, both oral and written skills. You will also need to have a great attitude and sense of humour, as it will be your aim to provide high level of engagement and personal independence for our new residents as they settle in.

Applicants must also have NZ Residency or a minimum of 1 year work visa.
